Geometry - 1st, 2nd & 3rd blocks

HW:  In your Unit 2A packet, complete pages 24, 25, 28 and 32.  Most of this is base angle theorem practice (isosceles triangles).  Page 32 is practice with the congruency statements that we learned in class today.

Today we took the Unit 2A quiz on angle pairs with parallel lines and a transversal.  We completed the notes on page 31 (see picture below).  Homework is to complete the classwork that you didn't finish on the above pages.  NO SCHOOL TOMORROW (Tuesday, 1/29).  When we return to school, we will be learning about triangle congruency.  Please check my blog later today or tomorrow:  I will be posting a video reviewing some of the base angle theorem problems.  For more practice with congruency statements, go to IXL.COM, click on the Geometry tab, then click on "J.1 Congruence statements and corresponding parts"
