Great job so far on 2 days of digital learning! I have answered all questions either through the Seesaw app or email. If you have any questions about the material we have covered so far, please let me know. Recap/review of key concepts from Monday and Tuesday: A few properties of circles to keep in mind: All circles have 360 degrees (around the curved part of the circle). Be on the lookout for diameters. Diameters are line segments that go through the center of the circle and have endpoints on the circle. A diameter splits a circle into 2 semicircles. A semicircle is 180 degrees. Helpful hint for today's lesson: If a circle is divided into 2 arcs, the 2 arcs add to 360 degrees. If you know one arc, the other arc is 360 - first arc. Wednesday, 3/18 assignment: Watch the following 2 videos, then complete problems on pages 19, 20 & 21. Pay close attention to where the VERTEX of your angle is so you use the correct formula to solve for the angle or arc. Watch the first video and finish the notes on page 12. Watch the 2nd video and complete the notes on page 18. Complete the problems on pages 19, 20 & 21. Show your equation set up and then your answers. Then either submit your work through the Seesaw app or email me a picture of your work.
